S&W39-2, 9x19mm

The S&W 39 was originally developed for the 1954 Army trials. It was not accepted as a general issue military handgun, but a modified, suppressed version (Mark 22 Mod 0, a.k.a. “Hush Puppy”) saw use with the Navy SEALS in Vietnam.

It went on to be a very popular handgun with law enforcement, proving it’s ruggedness and reliability. This example is in very good condition, with a perfect bore and only a few scuffs and scratches from use.
