Polish “Sportowy”, .22LR

The Sportowy is a .22 caliber Polish made version of the famous Russian TT-33, and it was intended for training and target shooting. Only 12,000 Sportowys were built and an unknown number reached the US, which makes it one of the more scarce variations.

This pistol was built in 1955 by the Zakłady Metalowe im. gen. “Waltera” plant (Arsenal 11), also known as the Radom plant near Warsaw, Poland. The function is similar to the old Walther 4mm conversion kits, where the rounds are inserted in full size dummy shells (not included) and loaded into a standard magazine. It is in near mint condition with some signs of being fired, possibly factory test fired only. This is a very clean gun with only a few, very minor handling marks, and would work perfectly for rounding off your Tokarev collection!
