Colt Python late 3rd generation “Flaming Mane” grips, 1987-1990

This variation was used on Colt Python ca. 1987-1990. Made of light colored walnut, finished in natural clear coat to replicate the original factory finish, and fitted with the special “Flaming Mane” medallions. Only two sets available.
Fits any Colt Python, including current production. They will also fit the current production Anaconda.

This is my second pair of Flaming Mane grips from Deer Hollow. They are beautifully made and are superior quality to the OEM Colt grips. Keep in mind Colt contracts out their grips and production runs vary. These look exactly like a perfect pair of OEM Colt grips (actually nicer). I also have Deer Hollow Python late 3rd generation grips and they are amazing too. The screw and medallions are exact! What a nice way to put period correct grips on your Python or just give your Python a new fresh look. I recently acquired a like new nickel Python but had aftermarket rubber grips. Deer Hollow grips made it 100%. I could not be happier! Thanks Olof.

I had a pair of Altamont grips on before and they looked nice but they were a lot more narrow than original Python grips. I was very pleased to find these and now my Python feels as good as it looks.
