I ordered a set of 2nd generation Python grips for my new 2022 Anaconda hoping they would mate without any modification. Wow…fit like a glove! Extroadinary craftmanship. My Anaconda is all dressed up! Olof is a pleasure to work with. Thank you Olof. I am very pleased😊

These grips are a must-have on the new 2020 Python. They feel fantastic and give the gun a beautiful, classic aesthetic. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in both the grips themselves and the finish is incredible especially at this price. I was torn between these grips and the non-oil 2nd gen ones for my 2020 Python. I talked to Olof, and he recommended these for a gun that would actually be shot since they would be more comfortable. They are also noticeably thicker than the factory grips which helps tremendously with the way the gun feels. I also like that the checkerboarding is more pronounced and not recessed like it is on the factory grips. This can cause slight discomfort when shooting hot rounds, but I prefer the added grip they offer (they seem to stick to my hands much more than the originals which always felt too loose). My only complaint is that they are designed for the classic Pythons and do not have holes for the second pin found in the 2020 version. This is a slight nitpick, and in the grand scheme of things, it is fairly minor. Overall, I love my grips, and I actively recommend them and Deer Hollow Online to anyone in need of new reproduction grips. Olof is a pleasure to work with, and his work is top-notch!

Those Colt Python Natural Oil Grips that you just sent me are simply stunning! Better than the original. Authentic in every way. Olof, you make the finest reproduction grips on the market today. There is nobody that is even a close second.

Amazing quality grips and an easy, good looking upgrade for my new Colt Anaconda over the stock rubber ones. They will comfortably handle full house 240gr. .44 mag rounds and even the heavier 305gr. hunting ones. I had no chaffing or hot spots after shooting a box of .44 mag and a box of .44 special. I agree with the earlier review that if you plan to shoot or carry your Colt on a regular basis that the stained walnut is the way to go. I can’t recommend these grips enough!

This is the third set of Python reproduction grips I’ve received from Deer Hollow this year, and all I can say is- Beautiful! Just like the others, the fit, feel finish, and looks are top notch. The Altamont grips on the new version Pythons just don’t do any justice to such a stunning revolver. And, the smell of the oil finish when I opened the bag took me back to the days when my late gunsmith father would do hand rubbed oil finishes on rifle stocks. These grips are worth every dollar. Thank goodness I only have one more Python to dress up! (For now).
