This variation was used on Colt Diamondback from ca. 1977-1978, although not shown in the catalogs until 1980. Finished with a tinted clear coat to replicate the original factory finish.
The original 1st generation grips came with either silver or gold medallions, and you can choose a color below.

Just got my grips and I am stunned. The seams are tight and sharp, but the most amazing thing is how you mated up exact mirror image grain lines from two different pieces of wood so they came together in perfect matching V’s of wood grain on the bottom of the grip. The screw holes are precise and the screws fit the holes like a glove…….and when you snug up the screw on the gun the screw is the perfect length! It’s the little things that make the difference. Oh,….and the screws are the correct type just like the originals. Once again the little details that make the difference.
I just turned around and ordered some more of your grips.

I recently received the set of grips for the second series of the Colt Diamondback. I had wanted to place the order months ago, but stock was depleted so I listed my email and waited for new grips to be produced. That just happened, and I received them today. They are flawless in every way, just as were the Python early series grips I received over a year ago.
I could not be more pleased, the fit and appearance is perfect. I highly recommend these grips, as they are in my opinion better than factory original in wood selection, finish appearance, and construction.

I recently bought a 1978 Diamondback in very nice condition, the only issue was the rubber grips it came with. Ordered these on a Saturday, and had them by Wednesday. Fantastic service, and the grip quality is VERY nice. Would buy again!
