Nambu Type 14, 8x22mm Nambu

This is a beautiful Japanese Type 14 pistol, made by the Toriimatsu branch of the Nagoya arsenal. The markings show that it’s a “second series” made in June 1944.

The condition is excellent without holster wear, just some high edge wear and minor thinning on the grip straps. The grips are numbers matching, super clean and in near mint condition without the common “swing mark” from the safety.  It’s extremely clean inside and out and the bore is mirror bright, so it’s obvious that this pistol has seen very little use. All numbers match, except for the magazine and firing pin.
