Our reproduction grips are made with the discerning collector in mind, using the latest computer based technology available and hand selected wood. We also use correct hardware, and if we cannot find it we will make accurate reproductions ourselves. We know that the details count, so we always go the extra mile to make everything as “factory correct” as possible.
We combine this with old fashioned craftsmanship to produce true reproductions that capture the exact look and feel of the original grips. All our customers agree that they are the most accurate reproductions on the market, and many argue that the quality is higher than OEM. Proudly made in the USA, right here in our own shop.

A note about fitting revolver grips: Our Colt grips are a direct, drop-on fit on most revolvers, but you need to keep in mind that not all revolver frames are exactly alike. Regardless of your grips being original or reproductions you may run into minor fit issues now and then, but these are usually very easy to correct as long as you do it the right way. It’s normally just a matter of some minor shimming, or removing very small amounts of wood on the backs of the panels. We have written a guide that shows you where and how to do it, and you can read it here: Grip fitting.
Some Colt grips are listed as specific for certain years of production. This information has been gathered by Colt collectors, using vintage catalogs and well documented guns as their sources. We have put together a reference guide that covers the 3 generations of Python target grips, and you can read it here: Python target grips reference guide.
If you’re unsure of the vintage of your Colt, visit Colt’s serial number lookup page. Note that you have to use the full serial number, including possible prefix or suffix. If your number is not in the database, Colt can find out the year of manufacture if you call them at 800-962-COLT (2658).
