Rare V-series Finnish Valmet L-35
$2,750.00
Valmet L-35, 9×19 mm
The L-35 was designed to withstand the rigors of warfare and the harsh conditions faced by the Finnish troops, so it’s one of the most robust 9mm pistols ever made. Weighing in at 2.76 lbs loaded, it’s also one of the heaviest 9×19 mm pistols ever made. Due to its reputation as a rugged pistol suited for the Scandinavian climate, it was later licensed and made as the Swedish Husqvarna M/40.
The V-series was made from parts that didn’t initially meet the inspection standards. These were rolled back into production and reworked to pass inspection, and marked with the special V prefix serial number. It has been estimated that only 300 pistols were marked like this, and they were sold on the commercial market.
This one is in excellent condition with a perfect bore, and it is also equipped with the elusive loaded chamber indicator. It has obviously been very well taken care of, and has a nice, “minty” appearance. A true classic from the WWII era!
C&R eligible.
