Webley & Scott Mk IV, .38/200 (.38 S&W)

The Singapore Police used a few different Webley Mk IV revolvers, and the one that stands out is the variation with hammer safety. This was factory installed on request from the Singapore Police Force, and consists of a sliding bar that keeps the hammer from moving with the safety on. It is a rather unique feature on a revolver, and the Singapore contract Mk IVs are the only Webleys with this particular type of safety. Another peculiar detail on these guns is that they were based on the small grip frame pocket model of the Mk IV, so the lanyard loop has an extension in order to accommodate the full size Mk IV grips.

This gun is in perfect mechanical condition, with a finish that shows some high edge wear. There are no dings, scratches or other signs of abuse, and the grips are in excellent condition. The action is very solid and the bore is pristine. It’s chambered in .38/200, and is perfectly safe to use with .38 S&W ammunition. Comes with a canvas holster in mint condition.
